Penrose Lyn Photography was wonderful to work with. We got married in July of 2018 in Riviera Maya, Mexico. There were photographers available for us to use on site, but when I looked through their work I quickly realized it was not the vibe I was looking for. When I found Ashlyn I instantly fell in love with the look of her photos and when I learned she was available and willing to shoot our wedding in Mexico, I was beyond excited!
Ashlyn is so sweet! She made me feel so comfortable and at ease the day of the wedding, simply by her demeanor and professionalism. She had a great plan for taking photos with family after the reception, which we shared with everyone before the ceremony and that made everything go smoothly and quickly. We followed group shots with our couple pictures and had a great time! I usually don't like pictures but it felt like we were just taking a walk and hanging out... there was good direction when needed if she wanted to get a certain shot, but it didn't feel over done at all. Which I loved!
When we got our photos back I was so so so happy! You have your wedding photos forever and my favorite part about Ashlyn's work is that she truly captured the emotion of the day. My favorite pictures are from our reception, everyone dancing and laughing... they are so candid and real. When I look at them I am instantly brought back to that moment in time, and I will cherish that forever. Ashlyn is amazing. Her passion and talent makes her so good at what she does. One of the things I liked most was how comfortable she made us feel. All of our pictures were so natural and never did we feel posed or awkward. She had us smiling and giggling the entire time. She is so sweet and so down to earth which makes her so easy to work with. Overall we had the best experience and she exceeded our expectations. I get an overwhelming amount of compliments on our pictures and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out.
